What you may not know about me

Is that I grew up on a farm in Iowa, the second oldest of nine children. In the McGuire clan, anything under 50 people is considered an intimate family gathering.

What I really like to do is

To write. I wrote the sports humor book, “101 Ways to Tell If You’re a Real Buckeye.” I’ve also won the Thurber House Humor Writing Competition and Irish Theatre Project Playwright Competition. Currently, I’m working on a screenplay and a short film script.

My perfect day

Has already happened. I married the love of my life; who happens to also be my best friend – Dave. Of course, I wouldn’t say no to winning the lottery.
