A Social Election

Today, more and more politicians are depending on social media to get their views on the day's issues out to the voting public and as a way to reach supporters and potential voters quickly and affordably.

Encore Multimedia is honored to have worked on the political campaigns of Andy Mack, who ran for the office of Mayor of Longview, Texas and Gary Boyd, Gregg County Commissioner, who ran for re-election. Both men won in the general election. In addition to the traditional marketing outlets of a political campaign (signage, direct mail, print collateral, print and broadcast advertising), Encore has also developed a strong, strategic social media/internet component. Within a few weeks of kicking off the campaign, the Mack For Longview website, YouTube videos and posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram received tens of thousands of visits, views and responses as did the campaign for Mr. Boyd.
