“From Encore Multimedia’s start in the Waskowiak family garage over twenty years ago to its continued commitment of investing back into its business and the community, even in the face of today’s changing climate, President Dean Waskowiak exemplifies what it means to be an innovator and entrepreneur,” said Kelly Hall, President/CEO for the Longview Chamber of Commerce.
“It is a great honor to be recognized for what you love doing,” said Waskowiak. “At Encore Multimedia, our benchmark is to ensure that every client experience is the best possible and goes beyond what most ‘traditional’ agencies do to exceed expectations with award-winning results. We also remain committed to serving Longview and our East Texas community by giving back however and whenever we can.”
Each year, the Longview Chamber of Commerce salutes four outstanding small businesses at its luncheon – Small Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Minority Business of the Year, and Family-Owned Business of the Year. All winners are selected by a nominating committee; based on the past year’s achievements and contributions to the Longview community.
Criteria includes demonstrating success through sales and profit, potential for long-term success and commitment to the community, along with several others measurements.
